With a focus on backstopping international projects, Gwendal excels in translating a wide range of bilingual documents, including reports, training manuals, certification standards, meeting minutes, among others.

His academic background includes a Masters (MAS) in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California, a Masters (MSc) in Coastal Management from the European Institute for Marine Studies in Brest, France, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Applied Marine Sciences and a Bachelor (BSc) in Marine Sciences from Plymouth University in the UK.

Beyond his academic record, Gwendal first acquired extensive practical experience in the field as a fisheries observer in various locations, then as an international projects officer in Paris, France, before transitioning to his current role as freelance translator and consultant. His hands-on expertise allows him to provide technnical insights to his clients.
